Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanics will be responsible for overseeing maintenance on all industrial equipment. This role requires performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment runs seamlessly. You will also participate in process improvement initiatives and implement technical solutions while utilizing precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on conveyors, photo eye sensors, packaging equipment, labelers, cappers, and other industrial equipment.
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment.
• Troubleshoot and determine issues with equipment.
• Ensure converting equipment and lines run continuously.
• Participate in manufacturing process improvement initiatives.
• Perform repairs and implement technical solutions.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, and multimeters.

Essential Skills

• Experience in maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and 3-phase motors.
• Comfortable with changeovers, setups, fillers, pumps, and valves.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferably 3+ years of experience in a GMP environment.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office.
• 5 years of related manufacturing experience in an FDA facility is preferred.
• Experience in a non-FDA facility with at least 3 years is acceptable.
• Previous experience in GMP or food manufacturing is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smyrna, TN.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
