Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

The CNC Machinist will oversee machining and modification for all CNC machines utilizing Mill & Lathe Equipment. This role demands expertise in machining processes and program management for manufacturing products in a multi-axis machining center.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze part drawings, sketches, and design data to determine the dimension and configuration of cuts, selecting cutting tools, machine speeds, and feeds.
  • Assist in the training of production operators on the use of new CNC machine control and tools.
  • Write machine setup sheets and tool lists to guide setup and operation of the machining centers.
  • Perform cutting tool evaluations, cost analysis, and implement new technology.
  • Recommend improvements through cycle time reduction, tooling enhancements, and raw material evaluation.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5+ years of experience in CNC Mill and Lathes.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming, CNC milling, and turning.
  • Experience with 5 axis CNC machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to use PartMaker & Fusion 360 Software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Haas, Chiron & Fanuc machines or similar required.
  • GD&T Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with swiss lathes and haas mills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a machine shop with a team of 20-25 professionals. The role requires steel-toed shoes, and shifts run from 7 AM to 3:30 PM and 2 PM to 10 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Addison, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.

dp, 1st and 2nd shift available, promote from within, 401k match, great benefits

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Addison,TX.
