Medical Records Specialist

Description

We are seeking a Medical Records Specialist for our Care Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting and possess knowledge of medical records, terminology, and systems. Proficiency in using electronic health record software, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary for this role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Organize and maintain medical records in accordance with established procedures

Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of all records

Retrieve patient records for healthcare providers as needed

Process record requests from patients, insurance companies, and other authorized parties

Input and update patient information in EMR systems

Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality

Other administrative duties and patient targeting interventions as assigned

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Addison,TX.
