A security technician installs, maintains, tests, and repairs physical and digital security systems, including access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, and computer network security tools. Key responsibilities involve reading blueprints, wiring low-voltage circuits, troubleshooting system malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, providing user support, and managing documentation and parts inventory. The role requires strong technical skills, the ability to interpret technical manuals, a valid driver's license, and often involves physical work and adherence to safety protocols.
Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all Security systems at customer sites.
Installation will include, but not limited to: Video Surveillance systems, IP and Analog cameras, wireless, Access Control panels, Intrusion Panels, magnetic locks, card readers, motion sensors, door contacts, electric door strikes, etc.
Perform assigned projects within scope, in a timely manner, and on budget.
Provide customers with system operation and training.
Excellent attention to detail including maintaining concise daily records and following of operational standards and practices.
Coordinate with Project Management and Field Technicians for project scheduling.
