Medical Laboratory Technologist
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technologist to join our hematology department for the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in performing laboratory tests and ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Requirements:
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in science and 1+ years of experience working in hematology or with CBC (Complete Blood Count)
- Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science
- Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
- Active MLT/CLS/MT/MLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Perform hematological tests and analyses with precision.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of specimens.
- Maintain lab equipment and follow quality control procedures.
- Document and report test results accurately.
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and standards.
Shift Details: This is a full-time overnight position
- Schedule: 11:45pm - 8:00am, Monday - Friday
