We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to develop and enhance SCADA systems using Ignition software. This role involves integrating field devices using various industrial protocols, building dashboards, alarms, and monitoring tools, and enabling real-time system visibility for cooling infrastructure. The position also includes supporting system validation and deployment.
Responsibilities- Develop SCADA systems using Ignition software.
- Integrate field devices using industrial protocols such as TCP/IP, BACnet, and Modbus.
- Build dashboards, alarms, and monitoring tools to enhance system functionality.
- Enable real-time visibility for cooling infrastructure systems.
- Support the validation and deployment of SCADA systems.
- 8-10 years of controls experience.
- Proficiency in PLC SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
- Experience integrating PLC systems into SCADA environments.
- Experience with data centers is a plus.
- Familiarity with Ignition software.
This position is fully remote but requires the ability to travel to Austin, Texas, 20% of the time. Mileage will be covered. Candidates must reside in Texas.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
