Hospital Housekeeper (EVS)
Location: Round Rock, TX
Type: Contract‑to‑Hire (90 days)
About the Role
Do you take pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming? We’re hiring Hospital Housekeepers (EVS) to help maintain a clean and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This is a hands‑on role and an important part of daily hospital operations.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in cleanliness, and wants to work in a healthcare setting.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Follow hospital cleaning, safety, and infection control procedures
- Restock supplies such as linens, soap, and paper products
- Properly handle trash, recycling, and biohazard materials
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely
- Work with the EVS team to meet daily cleaning needs
- Assist wherever help is needed throughout the hospital
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience (hospital or hotel preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
- Comfortable being on your feet for most of the shift
- Positive attitude and team mindset
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Hospital EVS experience
- Knowledge of basic sanitation or infection control practices
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Availability to work weekends or holidays

Pay & Benefits
- Pay range: $18.50 – $33.65/hr (based on experience)

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.00/hr.
