Coupa Buyer

[Job Description]

A globally recognized eCommerce company based in Seattle, WA is currently hiring for a fully remote Buyer who is very proficient in purchasing via Coupa and has strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs). The Buyer will be placing purchase orders using Coupa and utilizing internal tool to generate a list of items that need to be purchased, and export reports in the form of CSV files. Candidates who don't have recent experience or not comfortable purchasing through Coupa software will not be considered.

The Buyer will be responsible for assisting the Buying Team in expanding selection by setting up new vendors and items, maintaining the product catalog, and managing pricing. The Buyer will be supporting in purchasing materials and equipment for the current team that is working on automation and conveyor system projects for the company's fulfillment centers. The team's goal is to support new site launches from the procurement perspective in the supply chain realm.

Pay - $40/hr. - $43/hr.

Contract Duration - 6 Months To Start

Location - Fully Remote but must support CST hours

W2 Employment via Aston Carter / Actalent

[Responsibilities]

• New product launch & coordination.
• Maintaining product cost, retail price, content and images.
• Managing vendor relations, and assisting with special projects.
• Additional responsibilities include supporting and training as a backup to Control Buyer.
• Leverage Smartsheets, have visibility on task, validate due dates, purchase orders via bulk upload, and utilize Excel VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Maintain product cost, retail price, content, and images.
• Place high volume of orders.
• Manage stakeholders and vendor relations.

[Qualification Requirements]

• 5+ years of recent Buyer experience using Coupa.
• 5+ years of strong Excel analysis experience (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
• Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders and vendors.
• Strong attention to details.
• Experience with Six Sigma is a plus, but Coupa is a MUST.

[Disqualifiers]

• No purchasing experience through Coupa.
• No recent purchasing / buyer experience.
• Job hoppy or big gaps in employment history.
• Not comfortable utilizing Excel (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs).
