We’re looking for a passionate Safety Manager to join our team and play a vital role in protecting the wellbeing of every worker on our construction site. 🔧 What You’ll Do

As our Safety Manager, you will be the on-site leader for all safety-related operations, responsible for building and maintaining a strong safety culture. Key responsibilities include:

Safety Leadership

  • Complete Global Safety Team orientation and wear company-issued PPE.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Global Safety Charter and its principles.
  • Focus exclusively on safety tasks with the authority to support and influence management decisions.

Compliance & Training

  • Conduct full incident investigations and maintain OSHA 300 logs.
  • Ensure all safety orientations and required trainings are completed.
  • Verify and document safety certifications and training records.
  • Stay current with evolving safety and health standards, regulations, and best practices.

On-Site Oversight

  • Review and evaluate PTPs and JHAs for accuracy and completeness.
  • Confirm proper execution of special procedures (e.g., confined space entry, hot work).
  • Coordinate regulatory agency inspections and communicate updates to relevant teams.
  • Document observations and manage assigned safety software platforms.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Meet all requirements outlined in SSSPs, internal standard procedures, and applicable regulations.

🧠 Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in safety management.
  • OSHA 30 certification (required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.

  • Additional safety certifications.
  • Experience managing safety software platforms like Safety Mojo.

🏗️ Work Environment

  • Construction jobsite environment.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, starting at 5:30 AM, averaging 50 hours per week.
  • Dress Code: Required PPE, including vest and Global Safety Team hard hat (provided).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
