Job Description
The Sanitation Associate maintains a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse and production environment in an FDA-regulated cleanroom facility. This role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing manufacturing equipment and production areas, following strict sanitation and safety standards, and keeping detailed maintenance logs while working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Clean, wash, scrub, and dry manufacturing equipment according to established sanitation procedures.
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of the facility, including FDA-certified production areas and processing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with FDA facility standards at all times.
- Follow and document sanitation procedures in maintenance and cleaning logs accurately and consistently.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced cleanroom environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Carry out general labor, janitorial, and housekeeping tasks in warehouse and production areas as needed.
- Use appropriate cleaning tools, supplies, and equipment safely and correctly.
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and cleanroom protocols, including proper use of required PPE.
- Support production operations by ensuring equipment and work areas are cleaned and ready for use on schedule.
- Work flexible and possibly split shifts as required to meet production and sanitation schedules.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of sanitization or sanitation experience in a warehouse, industrial, production, or similar environment.
- Hands-on experience washing, scrubbing, and drying manufacturing or industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of FDA sanitation and safety regulations and ability to follow regulated cleaning procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate sanitation logs.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and compliance in accordance with FDA facility standards.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced cleanroom or production environment while ensuring accuracy.
- Ability to perform general labor, janitorial duties, and housekeeping tasks.
- Capability to work flexible shifts and potentially split shifts based on operational needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse sanitation, industrial cleaning, or production cleaning roles.
- Experience in dishwashing or equipment cleaning in a regulated or high-standard environment.
- Familiarity with cleanroom practices and controlled-environment procedures.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and sanitation checklists.
- Openness to working in a climate-controlled environment with consistent procedures.
- Bilingual or Spanish-only language skills are welcome.

Work Environment
The position is based in a cleanroom and production facility where all rooms are climate and moisture controlled, with the temperature maintained around 65 degrees year-round. The facility operates under FDA standards, and team members sign a non-disclosure agreement related to supplement recipes and proprietary processes. This is a non-smoking facility. Personal protective equipment, including hair nets, coats, gloves, and booties, is required and must be worn at all times in designated areas. The environment involves regular interaction with manufacturing equipment and cleaning agents, and it is not suitable for individuals with dairy or shellfish allergies due to the nature of the products handled. The role may involve flexible and possibly split shifts to support production and sanitation schedules. The workplace is structured, process-driven, and open to bilingual or Spanish-only speakers, providing a consistent and professional setting focused on safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Buda, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
