Cabling Technician 1-$22-28/hr
Job Description
As a Technician 1, you will perform rack and stack installations of various RF components, including coax, connectors, grounding, cable supports, splitters, fiber optic cable, CAT6 cable, and other components. You will read and follow wiring/routing diagrams, route and connect all cable connections as required, and adhere to company standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform rack and stack installations of RF components.
- Read and follow wiring/routing diagrams.
- Route and connect cable connections as required.
- Follow company standards and procedures.
- Use crimpers, screwdrivers, drills, laptops, digital multi-meters, label makers, and ladders.
- Utilize basic hand tools and material handling equipment.
- Incorporate LEAN practices into daily work, including Kaizen Events, A3 Documentation, 5S practices, and One Piece Flow.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electronics, wiring, and schematic reading.
- Experience with hand tools and assembly.
- Ability to inspect and follow wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of quality control and production processes.
- Familiarity with CAT6 cable and lean manufacturing principles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with rack and stack installations.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
