Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in commissioning or construction for I&C or Electrical Basebuild systems in the Advanced Technology sector.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation, PLC5, and Control Logix hardware and software.
• Experience with multi-discipline large capital projects involving Owners, General Contractors, Contractors, and System Integrators.
• Good understanding of Design/Build (Engineering and Construction).
• Knowledge of complex process systems architecture & design, Instrumentation, Device Selection, Networking, PLC & I/O architectures, P&IDs, data sheets, and SCADA.
• Working knowledge of environments common in large industrial applications such as Dry/Wet Mechanical, AWN, Gas/Chem Distribution, HVAC, and Clean Room environmental control.
• Proficient in written and verbal technical communication including generating reports and conducting group presentations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certification in electrical, mechanical, or control systems engineering or a related field. Direct experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with control systems in a data center or similar environment.
• Proficiency in control systems programming and configuration.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with various control system platforms; BMS or SCADA is a plus.
• Experience conducting I/O checkouts.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
