Job Description
We are an established architectural firm in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex seeking a seasoned Project Architect / Project Manager to lead projects from concept through completion. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive on ownership, collaboration, and delivering high-performance design solutions across industrial and commercial sectors. This is a hands-on leadership position for individuals who take pride in guiding teams, maintaining design excellence, and navigating complex technical challenges with confidence and clarity.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initial programming through construction administration.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients.
- Manage project scope, strategy, and delivery expectations.
- Oversee design development and construction documentation.
- Contribute hands-on to schematic and construction drawings as needed.
- Review drawings, provide markups, and maintain quality control.
- Manage schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate internal staff and external consultants.
- Track progress to ensure alignment with timelines and project goals.
- Prepare and manage municipal submittals and approvals.
- Oversee contract administration and construction phase services.
- Ensure compliance with building, fire, life safety, and accessibility codes.

- Professional degree in Architecture
- Minimum 10 years of architectural experience, including 2+ years in a project management role
- Strong knowledge of building, fire, life safety, and accessibility codes
- Architectural registration preferred but not required
- Proven experience with industrial and warehouse projects
- Experience in office, commercial, and retail developments
- Familiarity with construction types including concrete tilt-wall, steel frame, and masonry construction
- Proficiency in Revit preferred (MicroStation and AutoCAD a plus)
This position is onsite in Addison, where you will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role involves direct engagement with clients and team members, ensuring a cohesive and productive work atmosphere.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $57.00 - $72.00/hr.
