We are seeking a skilled Mac Engineer to join our enterprise IT team, focusing on engineering and supporting Mac productivity and collaboration tools in a high-security, high-stability environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional settings and is passionate about delivering seamless, user-friendly experiences for Mac users across the organization.
**Candidates must be able to work on W2, no C2C at this time**
Hybrid Work Schedule: 3 days onsite
Location: Dallas, TX
Top Skills:
- Comparing macOS applications and features against Windows
- Creating application configurations and customizations with management tools via scripting (shell, python, swift, golang) and profiles
- Creating and providing application inventory and policy controls via management tools such as: Workspace ONE, Jamf, Munki, InTune, etc.
- Documentation of configurations, troubleshooting, user and technical support content
- Providing user support: sync issues, account setup, meeting issues, documentation, FAQs
- Troubleshooting with vendor, internal teams, and users including executives
- Performing network captures and analyzing data with tools such as: Charles Proxy, Wireshark, tcpdump
- Supporting stable testing and rollout processes with approvals and documentation Collecting and evaluating logs
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer and support Mac productivity and collaboration tools across the enterprise.
- Manage Mac applications using configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Windows Engineering, and Mac Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Design and develop intuitive user experiences for Mac users, regardless of their current Mac proficiency.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams and executives to resolve issues promptly.
