If you have not been an OSP tech- you will NOT be considered.
We need osp data center technicians to support a scope of work at a datacenter in Denton, Tx and then after they will be supporting a client in Dallas. These technicians will need to have a good understanding of Cat5 cabling. They also need to have a good understanding of low voltage. The technicians need to be comfortable with heights, climbing ladders and getting into aerial lifts. Must be able to carry up to 40 pounds on site. The techs need to have reliable transportation and carry themselves professionally. Candidates will need to have their OSHA 10 certification. The environment is cookie cutter, class A builds, admin buildings and co-locations as well.
The technicians will be pulling cable primarily; fiber. There will be a lot of rack and stack and patch work involved. This job will be very hands on labor. The technicians won't be terminating/testing right out of the gates. But they will work towards this as they prove themselves on site. We provide our own training when getting hired on. They will have a week of training before they go on site. They will show them everything they will need to know before getting on site.
Residential (including FTTH), AV and DAS candidates will NOT be considered.
Monday through Saturdays(6am-5pm) 60 hour weeks.

- Techs will need to bring basic hand tools (Snips, Screwdrivers, Punch Down, RJ45 Crimps, Channel Locks)
- Nice to bring: Drills, Portable Bandsaw
