Job Description
The part-time warehouse worker handles all shipping and receiving activities in a small warehouse environment, including stocking, preparing, packaging, and loading parts for customers. This role maintains accurate documentation, processes transactions in an ERP system, and supports efficient material flow to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition of materials, and accurately record all receiving information.
- Stock and organize parts and inventory in designated warehouse locations to maintain an orderly and efficient workspace.
- Pick, prepare, and package customer orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and protection of materials.
- Load and unload trucks safely, including coordinating less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments as needed.
- Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork for preparation, pulling, shipping, and loading materials for shipment.
- Create and process bills of lading and other shipping documents in compliance with company procedures.
- Perform shipping and receiving transactions using an ERP system such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely to move, load, and unload products.
- Use RF scanners or similar devices to track inventory movement and support accurate inventory control.
- Support general warehouse duties, including material handling, order picking, packing, unloading, and loading.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external carriers to resolve shipping or receiving issues.
- Provide courteous customer service when interacting with drivers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment with hands-on shipping and receiving responsibilities.
- Current forklift certification and demonstrated ability to operate forklifts safely.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.
- Practical experience with shipping processes, including preparing and packaging materials for shipment.
- Ability to complete and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading.
- Basic proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms, to process transactions.
- Comfort working on your feet for extended periods, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, packing, and inventory handling.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Experience using RF scanners or similar technology for inventory tracking.
- Background in inventory control, material handling, and general labor within a warehouse setting.
- Customer service experience in a logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment.
- Outgoing and collaborative personality with the ability to work well in a small team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced shipping and receiving operation.

Work Environment
This role is based in a small warehouse setting with a hands-on, physical work environment. You will spend most of the shift standing and walking, with occasional lifting as part of daily duties. The position operates Monday to Friday, from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a stable daytime schedule. You will regularly use forklifts, RF scanners, and ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite to support shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. The setting is practical and task-focused, with an emphasis on safety, organization, and efficient material handling.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Paso, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
