Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering Manager to coordinate and take ownership of all engineering activities related to Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Special Processes. This role requires a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee contract reviews to ensure processes align with quality requirements and protect the business from risk.
- Manage drawing configurations and maintain standardized documented processes.
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts to meet customer requirements.
- Develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing methods and systems to ensure repeatable production.
- Design robust and cost-effective tooling to meet customer requirements.
- Manage existing routing processes including process templates, resource codes, labor standards, and BOMs.
- Focus on continuous improvement of processes and equipment.
- Champion the engineering change process to ensure efficient implementation of improvements.
- Develop and audit special processes to comply with internal and external requirements.
- Manage process approvals for heat treatment, welding, and calibration of specialty equipment.
- Oversee the NADCAP audit process, including preparation, execution, and closure.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Five years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Understanding of ITAR regulations and U.S. person status.
- Ability to interpret and understand safety procedures and specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or equivalent engineering field.
- Ten years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in CNC Machining, Forming, and Special Process environments.
- Extensive knowledge of multiple aerospace OEM specifications.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement projects.
- Experience in businesses with AS9100, ISO9001, or equivalent quality certifications.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
