Actalent Services (formerly EASi LLC) is hiring a Program Lead in our Systems and Software practice for a permanent role in Fort Worth, TX. The Program Lead will support local aerospace clients - and is responsible for the daily operations, consultant management and client communication for our onsite delivery program. Primary responsibilities include managing software engineering consultants (onboarding, performance and offboarding), client expectations, contractually required deliverables and compliance to all Actalent processes and standards. This position involves significant interaction with Actalent’s support teams and internal partners to ensure our customers’ and engineering consultants’ expectations are met. Success in this role requires a highly motived individual with a drive for results and a proven record of achievement working in the Aerospace or Defense industries and managing software engineering contractors and program deliverables.

This position requires U.S. Persons with ability to support customers in the defense industry which may require ability to obtain clearance in future. The Program Lead will need to be onsite 5 days/week at either our local client site or Actalent's engineering center (6100 Western Pl Suite 6000, Fort Worth, TX).

Essential Functions

  • Manage all program resources assigned to perform tasks according to project plan; set expectations concerning program performance; escalate issues for rapid resolution.
  • Identify project risk areas and suggests mitigation plans for the SOWs.
  • Responsible for successful achievement of all service level agreements.
  • Partner closely with Actalent Practice Leadership, Account Leadership, Finance, and Recruiters when identifying additional business/personnel needs.
  • Ensure program budgets are tracked and reported as necessary.
  • Work closely with Actalent's finance and support teams to support accounts receivable for billing and invoicing.
  • Conduct periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against the plan.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly status reports to Actalent management and appropriate client stakeholders.
  • Resolve all program issues with customer and suppliers as appropriate.
  • Support account growth and evolution preparing it for transformation to different delivery groups when necessary for additional technical oversight.
  • Travel as necessary to support customer and employee activity as well as attend internal meetings.
  • Executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Supervisory responsibilities including hiring, terminating, recurring touchpoints/performance reviews, and pay reviews for Actalent’s onsite consultants within assigned services program.

Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor's of Sciences in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of project management methods required; PMP certification desired.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience managing mid-size services programs, projects, contractor teams and/or engagements.
  • Minimum 6 years of overall professional experience required; experience working for third-party engineering services or project management consulting firms highly desired.
  • Previous experience supporting US DoD OEMs clients with familiarity in government compliance and cost segregation.
  • Strong familiarity with software delivery lifecycle and software development and/or systems engineering applications highly desired.
  • Proven professional experience managing programs and/or account operations; management experience within engineering services or talent solutions industry a plus.
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to execute contractual service agreements and SOWs required.
  • Strong process improvement and problem-solving capabilities; ability to diagnose client and internal service delivery pain points then develop and implement creative solutions.
  • Ability to effectively present to large customer groups.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with managing large, dispersed teams with diverse technical skillsets.
  • Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environment.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed; up to 20%.
  • Highly proficient in PC applications - MS Office suite of tools.
  • Must be U.S. Person with ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Compensation and Benefits Information

  • $100,000-$120,000 Base Salary, $8,000-$10,000 Annual Bonus Potential, Employee Profit-Sharing Program, 4 Weeks Paid Time-Off, 6 Paid Holidays, 401(k) w/company match, M/D/V Benefits [REFCR2023]
