Job Title: Systems Analyst

Job Description

The Systems Analyst will collaborate with information system users to analyze, identify, select, design, and implement computer applications for employee information. This role involves maintaining existing applications and coordinating activities between user areas and application programmers. The analyst will take a lead role in the development and enhancement process, assist in training and developing other analysts, and interface with end-users and user management to identify and document processing needs and requirements for new developments and system enhancements. The candidate must have 5 or more years of experience in either PC or mainframe applications and development. The role is pivotal in bridging the gap between different IT systems, ensuring seamless integration and improved efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing systems to identify integration needs and design solutions for connecting disparate systems.
• Develop and deploy integration solutions to ensure seamless communication between systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues within integrated systems to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders including developers, database administrators, and end-users for successful integration.
• Create and maintain documentation for integrated systems, including system diagrams, configuration details, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of integrated systems.
• Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in systems integration.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Java, and Python.
• Experience with database systems and integration technologies like ETL and APIs.
• Ability to analyze complex systems, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving issues in integrated systems.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
