Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on a pipeline of projects, often managing multiple at a time depending on demand. This role primarily focuses on equipment design layout, accounting for 80% of the time, while the remaining 20% will be dedicated to flange and fixture design and dimensions. You will collaborate closely with production and be involved in warehouse design layout, materials storage, and material upgrades for equipment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously based on demand.
- Focus primarily on equipment design layout.
- Design and dimension flanges and fixtures.
- Collaborate with production teams for effective project execution.
- Plan and implement warehouse design layouts.
- Oversee materials storage and coordinate material upgrades for equipment.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Inventor AutoCAD and AutoCAD.
- Experience in fabrication, assembly, and equipment design.
- Knowledge of fixture design and engineering.
- Familiarity with sheet metal and turning equipment.
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CAD and Solidworks.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work on multiple projects efficiently.
Work Environment
This position is based 80% in the office and 20% on the shop floor. The standard working schedule is Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with overtime being a rarity. The engineering team consists of 6 people. Expect to travel 5-10% of the time.
