Quality Control Manager

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manaer. Candidates with prior Bechtel project experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Role Overview: The CQC Supervisor will be responsible for the overall management of construction quality control and will have the authority to act on all CQC matters for Great Lakes Dredge & Dock. This position is dedicated solely to quality control for a specific project and will serve as the primary liaison between Great Lakes and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Skills: -Prior experience working on Bechtel projects or with Bechtel clients -Strong attention to detail and documentation skills -Oversee and manage all aspects of construction quality control for the project -Be onsite at all times during construction activities -Communicate regularly with the GLDD Project Manager and Site Managers to keep all parties informed of project status and quality issues

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: -USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification, held for at least five years (certification must have been obtained five or more years ago; certifications earned within the last five years will not meet this requirement) -Minimum of five years’ experience as Quality Control Manager -Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite -Physical capability to perform onsite inspections and fieldwork as required

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Houston,TX.
