Position Profile: Strategic Senior Technology Specialist
The Strategic Senior Technology Specialist is responsible for executing the core equipment and basic services strategy within assigned Strategic and Enterprise accounts, in collaboration with the Client Executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Client Executive to implement equipment and basic services strategies within assigned accounts.
- Independently lead customer engagements and meetings, developing opportunities by leveraging subject matter experts and other resources to position, propose, and close deals.
- Qualify opportunities efficiently and develop proposals that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Craft and position the Ricoh portfolio to align with customer needs.
- Assess solution fit and affordability for the customer.
- Lead pricing, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Propose, sell, and deliver profitable core equipment and basic services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Build trust and influence with clients through effective collaboration.
- Clearly articulate Ricoh's industry position and value proposition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience selling to Fortune 5000 companies.
- Proven consultative selling skills.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Deep understanding of customer approval and internal processes.
- Experience selling service annuities and managing change orders.
- Demonstrated ability to build influence through collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of core products and services.
- Ability to independently develop and deliver compelling value propositions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Awareness of evolving market trends.
- Technologically savvy, with knowledge of enterprise IT architectures.
- High learning agility.
- Primarily office-based with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels.
- Work involves interpreting and applying complex information and communicating it effectively.
- Minimal physical effort required; mostly sedentary with occasional walking, standing, bending, and light lifting (typically under 10 lbs).
- Moderate dexterity required for tasks such as typing and handling documents.
