Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our production crew by maintaining organized workspaces, cleaning materials and tools, and operating a band saw to cut materials. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing setting who is comfortable being on their feet for extended periods. You will collaborate closely with other shop helpers and production associates.
Responsibilities
- Assist production crew with maintaining shop flow.
- Keep workspaces organized and clean.
- Operate a band saw to cut materials.
- Utilize hand and power tools to support production workers.
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality and safety.
MUST HAVE Skills
- Experience in general labor and packaging.
- Experience in a manufacturing shop environment.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools.
- Capability to operate machines, especially band saws.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Ability to use a tape measure.
- Strong attendance and work ethic.

Work Environment
The role is based in a shop environment with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
