Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our production crew by maintaining organized workspaces, cleaning materials and tools, and operating a band saw to cut materials. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing setting who is comfortable being on their feet for extended periods. You will collaborate closely with other shop helpers and production associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist production crew with maintaining shop flow.
• Keep workspaces organized and clean.
• Operate a band saw to cut materials.
• Utilize hand and power tools to support production workers.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality and safety.

MUST HAVE Skills

• Experience in general labor and packaging.
• Experience in a manufacturing shop environment.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools.
• Capability to operate machines, especially band saws.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• Strong attendance and work ethic.

Work Environment

The role is based in a shop environment with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
