Job Title: Supply Chain Business Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Business Analyst to join our team remotely, with flexibility for occasional on-site meetings in Houston, TX or Dallas, TX. The role involves supporting various elements of SAP solutions implementation and other supply chain improvements globally. You will work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with a total of 40 hours per week and no anticipated overtime.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze requirements by collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into actionable requirements for SAP solutions.
- Document business processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
- Develop use cases and functional specifications.
- Translate user requirements to configure and customize SAP modules to meet specific business requirements.
- Support the design phase of SAP projects and enhancements, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and SAP best practices.
- Design and execute tests, validate solutions with users to ensure successful implementation, and troubleshoot issues.
- Provide training to end users.
- Contribute to all aspects of project management and support successful project completions.
- Document project artifacts.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, the project management team, PMO office, and IT, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of SAP modules, particularly in sourcing, procurement, and invoice management (SAP Sourcing, SAP Contracts, and SAP SLP).
- Proficiency in SAP Materials Management (MM) and Procure to Pay process.
- Experience with SAP MDG.
- Ability to analyze business processes, identify problems, and propose solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar capacity with at least 2-3 implementation life cycles.
- Critical problem-solving skills.
- Team player, responsive, organized, with excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering, or Bachelor of Science.
- PMP Certification.
- SAP MM Functional Consultant Certification.
- Certifications in SAP procure to pay modules.
- Experience in a manufacturing industry is an advantage.
Work Environment
The position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from home with occasional meetings on-site.
Compensation:$45
