Job Title: Sales Audit Specialist

Job Description

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with in-office days on Tuesday and Thursday and remote work on the other three days. The role involves reviewing cash reports, resolving exceptions and customer service cases, verifying cash report closures, preparing journal entries, and collaborating with various accounting and sales groups.

Responsibilities

• Review cash reports and make necessary corrections.
• Resolve and close C01 exceptions and Remedy cases.
• Verify all cash reports are closed by store and processed before month-end close.
• Prepare journal entries as needed.
• Collaborate with Car Wash, Credit Card, Lottery, Money Orders, Commission Fuels, Gas Accounting, and Sales Tax groups.
• Work with market managers and field consultants as necessary.
• Perform special duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong math aptitude.
• Independent worker with self-starting capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and formatting.
• Previous experience in analyzing data.
• Knowledge in accounting, cash application, invoicing, coding, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase order, finance, debits and credits.
