Job Title: Garnishment Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Garnishment Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing garnishment orders and ensuring compliance with court-ordered financial obligations. The ideal candidate will interact with various stakeholders to maintain accurate records and support the payroll and accounting teams in processing timely and precise garnishment withholdings.

Responsibilities

  • Process garnishment orders, including wage attachments, bank levies, and other court-ordered financial obligations.
  • Interact with creditors, attorneys, and employees to gather necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and report on garnishment activities to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with payroll and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate garnishment withholdings.
  • Stay updated with changes in garnishment laws and regulations, and implement process improvements to ensure ongoing compliance.

Essential Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience with garnishments
  • Proficiency in Accounting and Payroll.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with VistaView Point and UKG systems is a plus

Work Environment

*This team works a 4 by 10 hour day work (fully on-site) week Monday through Thursday. Fridays are off

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
