As a Control Panel Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of electrical enclosures used for the measurement and control of hydrocarbon and chemical products, as well as power and water applications.
Responsibilities- Assemble electronic control hardware into enclosures according to defined standards and practices.
- Terminate input and output signals (I/O) from control hardware to termination blocks, requiring precise measurement and wire handling.
- Strip insulation from wires and land each end under screw terminals, requiring dexterity and discipline.
- Follow directions and schematics accurately.
- Utilize hand tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, pliers, and cordless drills effectively.
- Proficiency in panel wiring and assembly.
- Ability to read and follow electrical schematics.
- Attention to detail in wiring and panel building.
- General PC skills with knowledge of Word and Outlook.
- 3+ years of experience in building complete units independently is preferred.

Work EnvironmentWork at a non-climate controlled workstation with opportunities to sit or stand, requiring occasional lifting of 50 lbs. The valve department is climate controlled. Standard hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential for earlier hours during the summer due to heat. Overtime may require working from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
