Job Description
This role requires thorough and in-depth knowledge of ERP Systems, Master Production Scheduling, Production Planning, and Capacity Planning. The Master Production Planner will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed master production and material plans for the product line to drive Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and plan production capacity to support SOP.
Responsibilities
- Run and control MRP to guarantee required production flexibility and achieve targeted inventory levels.
- Address the procedure from initial data collection and analysis to MRP generation.
- Load forecast data into MRP.
- Produce and distribute the build plan to Contract Manufacturers while considering MRP results and CM flexibility constraints.
- Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for problem-solving and obtaining results.
- Introduce and integrate new technologies and/or new processes as needed.
- Manage raw materials inventory levels.
- Develop and maintain necessary records and documentation in compliance with ISO system requirements.
- Manage daily activities of the Production Control Team.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in ERP Software and familiarity with NetSuite programs.
- Mastery of MS Office and Excel for efficient data communication.
- Familiarity with MES software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or 7 years of equivalent experience.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable presenting in front of small to medium-sized groups.
- Outstanding business acumen with commercial and financial understanding.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
- Capability to establish and utilize best practice methods using documented Standard Work Instructions.
Work Environment
This is an on-site role located in Midland, TX. The position offers relocation assistance, stipend, and stock options.
