Registered Nurse

Actalent is looking for a registered nurse located in Odessa to support an Oncology clinic.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Compensation: $35–$45 per hour (based on experience)

Overview:

Our oncology clinic in Odessa is seeking a compassionate and skilled Infusion Nurse to join our care team. This role focuses on providing high‑quality infusion services to oncology patients in a supportive outpatient environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, patient‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced clinical setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV infusions in accordance with provider orders and safety protocols
• Monitor patients for infusion reactions and provide appropriate interventions
• Perform venipuncture, access ports, and maintain central lines
• Document all treatments, assessments, and patient interactions accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with oncologists, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and post‑infusion care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant infusion environment
• Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and oncology‑specific safety standards

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Texas
• Previous infusion or oncology experience preferred (but strong IV skills may be considered)
• OCN certification is a plus
• Strong assessment and critical‑thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient‑care abilities

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
