Job Title: Order Picker
Pay: $18.50-19.50 hr
Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Job Description
The Order Picker is responsible for locating, loading, and moving products to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately. This role requires a keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy of orders and a commitment to safety as part of the employment culture.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve orders from the shipping desk.
- Provide quality checks on all orders for misprints, false quantities, non-stocked items, closed carton orders, partial quantities, double orders, or ship-withs, adhering to the correct department picking order.
- Inspect all products for dents, dust, or paint blemishes before pulling the order.
- Transport products by lifting and hand loading onto pallets, then return pallets to the pre-staging wrapping area.
- Stack and arrange pallets for safe and proper delivery.
- Inspect pallets for proper stickers, addresses, labeling, and display positioning.
- Complete orders by accurately filling in the appropriate spaces on the bill of lading and return it to the shipping desk.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
- Experience with picking and pulling orders.
- Attention to detail in checking orders for accuracy and quality.
- Ability to lift and move products efficiently and safely.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean work area.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management is beneficial.
- Familiarity with bills of lading and order processing is advantageous.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Roanoke, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
