Injection Molding Process Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician to join our team and contribute to our legacy of over ninety years of industry innovation. Responsibilities
- Set up and start injection molding machines, including installing molds, adjusting parameters, and verifying part quality.
- Optimize molding processes to improve cycle time, minimize defects, and enhance productivity.
- Diagnose and resolve processing issues such as flash, short shots, warping, and dimensional inconsistencies.
- Conduct regular process audits and recommend corrective actions.
- Start up and shut down molding machines.
- Operate a forklift to perform mold changes and organize molds.
- Ensure proper documentation of machine settings, process changes, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor production quantities for color change, mold change, and product completions.
- Execute activities within the scope of approved procedures and set priorities based on production needs.
- Monitor and address scrap production to eliminate root causes.
- Maintain housekeeping standards by 5S in the assigned work area.
- Promote safety, quality, and environmental awareness and requirements in the area of responsibility.
- Identify and resolve issues related to equipment, machines, personnel, process, training, and materials.
- Provide recommendations to engineering for process improvement opportunities.
- Inspect machines hourly to ensure production of acceptable quality parts.
- Accurately report daily shift performances, including safety, quality, labor hours, production tickets, scrap, and first part approvals.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Injection Molding.
- Experience in machine start-up and shutdown.
- Knowledge of basic machine functions, plastic injection molding, troubleshooting, mold tooling, mold change, and setup.
- PLC Troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with Plastic Injection Molding.
- 5+ years of experience as a Process Technician.
- Related molding plastics processing and maintenance experience preferred.

Work Environment
Work both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to temperatures that align with outdoor seasonal conditions. This role involves consistently moving equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the day. Initially, work on the 3rd shift from 10 pm to 6:30 am, with the possibility of switching to the 1st shift after six months.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Rockwall, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $61200.00 - $80000.00/yr.
