Job Title: Hospital Housekeeper (EVS Tech)

Job Description

As a Mission Trail-EVS Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in patient rooms, discharge rooms, and public areas within the hospital. This includes tasks such as wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash and laundry. Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment is our top priority.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms and discharge rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies and restrooms.
• Perform tasks such as wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash/laundry.
• Adhere to sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Comfortable working in a medical environment including exposure to blood and trauma.
• Ability to lift and push 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or hotel setting is preferred.

Work Environment

The hospital environment is fast-paced, requiring techs to work rotating weekends. Shifts include 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm and 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm. This role requires comfort in a medical setting and involves physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $15.10 - $15.10/hr.
