WHAT WE PROVIDE: 

This is a year-round Leadership position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. It features a competitive hourly rate starting at $18 per hour, with a generous benefits package which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick and Jury Duty), 401k with matching and a minimum average of 30+ hours per week offered and expected on a year-round basis with flexible scheduling.


Responsibilities:
  • Promotes Guest First Standards, Total Safety Culture and Park / Departmental policies and procedures, as well as motivates and maintains employees.  .
  • Provides reporting to management to help maintain division certifications (and are kept up to date)
  • Helps co-ordinate and organize International Program (when park participates)
  • Completes random audits to ensure TABC and all other policies/procedures are being followed
  • Conducts initial Food Service Orientation (Primarily Virtual but In Person as well)
  • Coordinates the transition into the On The Job Training
  • Tracks and Follows up with On The Job Training, to ensure compliance
  • Understands and completes all required paperwork
  • Ensures proper paperwork for all team members are maintained throughout the season
  • Co-ordinates and tracks Food and Beverage Online training Program to include TABC,  Leadership Sanitation, and Food Handler Training
  • Acquires and maintains TABC certification, Sanitation certification
  • Completes pay changes, transfers, terms and team member updates in the HR system
  • Co-ordinates the “Spotlight” program that highlights Guest and TM compliments
  • Regulates the organization of the team with departmental organizational tracking

Qualifications:
  • Requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that including nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Must be detail oriented, highly motivated and a self starter
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain TDH Sanitation and TABC certifications
  • Previous experience in Food and Beverage Or Merchandise a Plus
  • A strong sense of teamwork and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to cross train into other departments and work in such departments as needed during short staffing periods
