Journeyman Electrician – Traveling (Contract-to-Hire)

We are looking for a State-Licensed Journeyman Electrician to support nationwide equipment installations. This position requires a hands-on mindset, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

A state-issued Journeyman License is required. (NCCER does not qualify.)

Responsibilities

• Install specialized equipment on military bases across the United States.
• Support other departments with electrical tasks and crossover scope as needed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain 3‑phase motors, electrical controls, and related systems.
• Travel extensively for project-based assignments.

Essential Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Electrician License from any U.S. state.
• Experience working with 3-phase motors and electrical controls.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and technical problem‑solving skills.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel for 6–8 weeks at a time, nationwide.
• Flexible and open to overtime, including evenings or weekends.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime.

• Travel for 6–10 weeks, then 2 weeks home between rotations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
