POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible in supporting all operational functions to ensure continuous readiness of department(s).  Primary function will be to participate in EOC rounding and to use data mining of information gathered during rounds throughout the facility, to include but not limited to, general EOC rounds, rounding on construction sites, rounding on areas covered under an ILSM, rounding on areas working under a hot work permit.  Reports will be generated and shared on a monthly basis as part of the EOC meeting.  The reports will be of trends that are found from the analysis of gathered data.  Will also share reports and findings from rounds with different departments throughout the system.  Will support department(s) during all on-site accreditation and CMS surveys as required.  Manages medium to high priority projects as assigned by department leadership.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree in environmental science, environmental health and safety, fire science, business administration or related field OR two (2) years’ experience in administrative, safety, data analytics, operational support role and/or analytical report generation. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.  Experience in healthcare is preferred.  CHSP (Certified Healthcare Safety Professional) or CHFM (Certified Healthcare Facility Manager) is preferred.

Compensation:$20.80 - $34.75
