Join a skilled team working on a high-profile industrial facility and put your hands-on construction and mechanical skills to work. As a Construction Technician, you’ll support the installation and setup of industrial tools and machinery on the East side of the plant. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals looking for steady work, overtime potential, and valuable large-scale project experience.

If you have experience with industrial machinery, conveyors, or millwright work—and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment—this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with moving tools and equipment into the facility
• Unbox crates and unwrap machinery and components
• Use hand saws and band saws as needed
• Support machinery placement and tool hook-ups
• Read and interpret prints and schematic drawings
• Work closely with a team to meet project timelines

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of construction experience
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• OSHA 10 certification (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with conveyor installation
• Ability to read and follow work instructions accurately
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance

Work Environment & Schedule

• High-volume production and construction site
• PPE required (hard hat and safety vest—candidate provided)
• Schedule: Monday–Sunday
• Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, TX.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
