WASTE CONNECTIONS, Inc . is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Technical Recruiter to join our c orporate Office in The Woodlands, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging recruitment technology tools to identify , engage, and secure top talent across a variety of technical disciplines. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills as you will be collaborating with multiple hiring managers from different departments to fulfill their unique staffing needs.

A Day In the Life of a Waste Connections Corporate Technical Recruiter:
- Deliver all areas of the recruitment process including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, assessment, extending offers and monitoring new hire onboarding processes.
- Utilize advanced recruitment technology platforms (e.g., CRM , LinkedIn Recruiter, AI sourcing tools) to proactively source, track, and manage candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- M inimize the use of contingency and retained searches.
- Create strong partnerships with H iring M anagers across IT, IS, Engineering, Accounting , and other technical functions to understand position requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Ensure that recruiting and hiring processes comply with Federal and State employment laws and Company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date records and reports in recruitment systems for compliance and analytics purposes.
- Stay current with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in technical recruiting and recruitment technology.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives and talent pipeline development for future hiring needs.
- Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion.
- 5 or more years of recruiting experience in a professional environment, using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM.
- Experience with high volume requisition loads and technical roles requiring experience with specific and emerging technology platforms.
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- I ntermediate skills in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and contact with internal customers and candidates in a professional manner.
