You'll be part of a small, collaborative team, where ownership of deliverables and driving products forward with urgency and accountability is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support 2–4 active projects immediately, including battery pack and automotive-grade power bank solutions.
  • Own electrical deliverables from concept, prototyping, validation, and launch.
  • Drive products through OEM approval and validation processes, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and specifications.
  • Serve as a customer-facing technical lead, supporting OEMs during development, testing, and first product launch.
  • Coordinate closely with vendors, test labs, and external engineering partners.
  • Participate in patent development, including writing disclosures and supporting filings for new product concepts.
  • Translate early prototypes into production-ready designs, accounting for manufacturability, cost, and scalability.
  • Navigate OEM bureaucracy and timelines while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and engineering discipline.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical engineers, manufacturing, and external partners.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer (2+ years with a Master's Degree).
  • Experience within the Automotive or Aerospace & Defense industries.
  • Proficiency in electrical design, schematic creation, and hardware engineering.
  • Experience with prototyping, product life cycles, and electrical systems engineering.
  • Experience working with electronics, with a focus on batteries being a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Project management skills.
  • Experience in engineering disciplines related to automotive and aerospace.
  • Capability to lead system-level electrical design projects.
