Job Title: Associate, HR Business Partner
Location: Waco, Texas
Job Description:
We are seeking an Associate, HR Business Partner to support both functional and P&L employees at our Waco, Texas location. This role is responsible for driving key HR programs and leading change management initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
This position is hands-on and will include both strategic contributions and transactional responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment: Align HR strategies with business objectives while ensuring consistent and unbiased application of HR processes, programs, and annual initiatives.
- Talent Management: Lead strategies related to talent acquisition, development, and retention. Partner with leadership on succession planning and knowledge transfer.
- Performance Management: Manage performance appraisal systems to foster high performance and employee growth.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a primary contact for employee concerns, promote a positive workplace culture, resolve issues, and ensure compliance. Conduct investigations and represent management as needed.
- Change Management: Guide and influence organizational change initiatives, support transitional processes, and promote clear communication across departments.
- Compensation and Benefits: Partner with compensation teams to maintain competitive and fair pay and benefits aligned with company standards.
- Training and Development: Identify skills gaps and develop learning programs to elevate workforce capabilities.
- HR Metrics and Analytics: Use data to drive decisions and evaluate the impact of HR programs.
- Advisory Role: Provide HR-related guidance to leadership, coach and counsel across all levels.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Champion inclusive practices that ensure equal opportunity for all employees.
- Organizational Development: Support design and implementation of structures that improve efficiency and engagement.
- Teamwork: Work with centers of excellence (COEs) to deliver impactful HR solutions and promote a diverse, high-performing culture.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Human Resources expertise
- HRIS proficiency
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong consultative skills
- Employee relations experience
- Knowledge of HR law and strategies
- Experience with learning management systems
- SHRM, PHR, or SPHR certification (preferred)
- Aerospace & Defense industry experience (preferred)
Education:
Graduate degree in related field preferred
