We are seeking a seasoned Healthcare Financial Analyst with extensive experience in medical coding, billing, reimbursement, and contract management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, healthcare finance knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate and testify in court. This role requires a critical thinker who can articulate complex concepts and provide expert witness testimonies as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze medical billing data and prepare information for system input.

• Provide expert witness testimonies in court regarding medical billing practices.

• Coach doctors on billing practices and critically analyze billing processes.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient billing and coding.

• Utilize technical skills in Excel and EHR systems to manage and analyze data.

• Understand and explain the "why" behind billing and coding practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

1) 3-5 years of medical billing experience

2) 3-5 years of medical coding experience

3) Proficiency in Microsoft suite specifically with Excel. Will need to compile and analyze data.

4) Preferred knowledge with medical billing/coding field.

5) Legal knowledge or experience in teaching billing and coding is a plus.
