General Laborer - Weekly Pay!!
Job Description
We are a concrete manufacturing company specializing in producing and supplying concrete masonry, pavers, and specialized building products for residential, commercial, and infrastructure applications. We are seeking candidates to join our Tumbler department. The role involves stacking different bricks onto pallets as they come through on a half-circle conveyor belt. Once a pallet is full, it will be picked up by a forklift, wrapped, and prepared for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Stack bricks onto pallets from a conveyor belt.
- Ensure pallets are properly loaded and ready for forklift transport.
- Maintain a steady workflow throughout the shift.
- Coordinate with forklift operators for pallet wrapping and shipping.
Essential Skills
- Experience in forklift operations.
- Material handling skills.
- General labor experience.
- Loading and shipping capabilities.
- Experience with sit-down forklifts.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in construction and concrete work.
- Familiarity with stacking pallets and bricklaying.
- Ability to wear a respirator with minimal facial hair for proper fit.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic environment that can be cold in winter and hot in summer, with exposure to dust and wind. Safety is a priority, and the team size ranges from 4 to 6 members. PPE, including steel metatarsal shoes, glasses, hard hats, vests, and respirators, is required.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Salt Lake, UT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
