About the role:
As an NDT Inspector Level II you will operate and initiate repairs on most equipment used in the inspection areas. Evaluate inspection results and make disposition of inspected material. Perform four (4) major functions in the inspection area such as: ultrasonic testing, dye penetrant testing, dimensional/visual testing, and maintain calibration systems. Perform in-process verifications.
You will report to the Inspection Team Manager and be located at Ogden, UT. You will support this position 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up nondestructive and dimensional inspection equipment. Train lower level inspectors to make these set ups.
- Perform NDT, dimensional and visual inspections on products and material using appropriate equipment and measuring instruments following inspection requirements. Assist lower classified inspectors in these operations.
- Evaluate inspection results of own work, operators and lower classified inspectors. Evaluate condition of materials, products and test results to determine if they meet customer requirements. Indicate acceptance or rejection and initiate processes for disposition and shipment of product.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of all phases of inspection processes observing requirements. Train lower classified inspectors in proper maintenance of records.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Inform supervisor and engineers when an inspection reveals repetitive problems or when a test procedure or results are questionable.
- Initiate and assist with new test and inspection procedures and techniques.
- Conduct training programs on use of several inspection equipment and processes.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2 years college or technical school or equivalent.
- Must be certified ASNT Level II in two (2) of the following: dye penetrant, ultrasonic inspection, dimensional inspection, and calibration. .
- Minimum one (1) year NDT experience and two (2) years dimensional inspection experience.
- Appropriate technical training may compensate for experience.
