Aerotek is currently seeking for a full-time (direct-hire) tech to upfit commercial trucks for the service and commercial industries.

We are currently seeking for two technicians, will be responsible for installing, various truck bodies and equipment, such as, flatbeds, water tanks, plows, chippers, compressors and other equipment. Will also perform tasks such as 12v electrical installation, some basic welding, fabrication and troubleshooting tasks.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the commercial truck/truck equipment industry.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic, mechanic, basic automotive electrical wiring and basic welding skills
  • Ability to read and follow schematics, and work instructions.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Attention to detail, quality, and safety.

Pay: $29- $33/hour DOE. This is an hourly paid job. Direct hire, this is not a contract job.

The regular shift is from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, about 50 hours a week. The team rarely works Saturdays

All candidates will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and must have a clean driving record

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
