Your day to day
Responsible for monitoring and assessing environmental conditions to ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainable practices.
Work in various industries, including environmental consulting firms, government agencies, and private companies.
Collect and analyze samples of air, water, soil, or hazardous materials, and utilize specialized equipment to measure pollutants and contaminants.
Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and policymakers to support environmental protection efforts and ensure that industries operate in an environmentally sustainable manner.
Who you are:
High school diploma / GED or BS in related field
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to environmental stewardship are essential qualities for individuals pursuing a career as environmental technicians.
Must be a certified forklift operator
DOT & RCRA HAZMAT trained
