Heavy Equipment Operator

Description

The work day will run from 6am-6pm Monday - Friday. Saturdays may also be required depending on work load and weather delays. The Utility Tractor hand will need to take accountability for the pre inspection and end day inspection of machine and report any concerns to management. Have you operated a utility tractor pulling one or more of the following – Box Blade. Sheeps Foot, Disc. Have you worked in the cut or in the fill or haul road? When you were operating the tractor what equipment did you follow? Sheep Foot follows the Dozer Box Blade normally works with the Motor Grader Operator on haul road or wherever needed Disc follows the Dozer

Valid Drivers license preferred but not the ultimate deciding factor on employment. Candidates with a valid DL and can be insured to operate a Mortenson Company vehicle will be able to have a wider range of opportunity. This is because Mortenson works in all parts of the country and candidates that can drive, can use company vehicles to travel to other job sites if requested.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
