Production Operator - Weekly Pay!!

Job Description

I am seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our client's team as a Production Operator. These roles involve working in our client's Offline and Extrusion departments, where you will support production lines by preparing materials, building steel reels, and ensuring quality control of final products. This position offers opportunities for growth and skill development in an active and engaging manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build steel reels for production lines using bolts, hand, and power tools.
  • Prepare and manage materials before and after production lines.
  • Feed production lines and handle scrap materials for disposal or recycling.
  • Operate machinery such as grinders and extrusion machines.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Wrap final products around reels in an even and neat manner.
  • Perform manual tasks, including cutting and routing ends of conduits.
  • Ensure proper packaging and labeling before shipping.
  • Perform heavy lifting and team-lifting of industrial pipes.
  • Maintain a clean work environment with light housekeeping duties.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing (minimum 1 year).
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to perform quality inspections and machine operations.
  • Comfortable working in a loud, non-climate-controlled environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction or automotive industries is beneficial.
  • Experience with extrusion machinery and measuring tools.
  • Familiarity with operating grinders and impact guns.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, proactive environment.

Work Environment

Our clean, heavy industrial manufacturing plant operates on a 2-2-3 schedule with shifts running from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am. Team members work in a dynamic, non-climate-controlled environment where being on your feet all day is common. We promote cross-training and emphasize a team-oriented atmosphere.

This is a Permanent position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $43680.00/yr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
