Network Engineer IV

TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Arlington, VA to hire an experienced Network Engineer to support the deployment and automation of a large‑scale, highly complex network environment. The role involves designing scalable network solutions, optimizing IP protocols, and troubleshooting advanced networking issues across diverse platforms. Candidates will work with major routing technologies—including BGP, OSPF, and Cisco 37xx/49xx/65xx/73xx/76xx series—while ensuring high availability and performance. This position requires deep expertise in network analysis, IP fundamentals, and a wide range of transport and security technologies such as DWDM, SONET, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6, HSRP/GLBP, IPSEC, and VPNs. Success in this fast‑paced environment depends on strong communication skills, autonomy, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that support rapid infrastructure scaling.

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00/hr.
