Job Title: Civil CAD Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil CAD Technician to join our dynamic team in Ashburn, VA. The role involves designing industrial, commercial, and residential subdivision layouts, utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. You will work closely under the guidance of a Licensed Professional Engineer, contributing to diverse land development projects.

Responsibilities

• Design industrial, commercial, and residential subdivision layouts using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers in planning and designing hydraulic and stormwater collection systems.
• Assist in drafting and design tasks related to site development, grading, and stormwater management.
• Participate actively in project team meetings to ensure project objectives are met.
• Maintain open communication and reliability, adhering to weekly task deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Degree or certification in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or equivalent related experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility in managing job tasks as deadlines and priorities change.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with stormwater management design is a plus.
• Experience in putting together site plans is a plus.
• Experience with grading is a plus.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
