• Sr Lead: \$55–\$60/hr

• Team Leads: \$35–\$45/hr

📝 Overview

The Data Center Critical Environment Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure within a data center. This role ensures the reliability, efficiency, and safety of systems such as power, cooling, and environmental controls, while leading a team of technicians and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of technicians responsible for critical environment systems.

• Develop shift schedules and delegate tasks to ensure 24/7 coverage and operational continuity.

• Ensure compliance with training, safety, and operational standards.

• Oversee the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.

• Coordinate and execute routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and contractors working within the facility.

• Assist in planning and executing server installations, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.

• Support disaster recovery testing and ensure readiness for emergency situations.

• Maintain accurate records of system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.

• Provide timely updates and reports to management and stakeholders.

🎓 Qualifications

• Proven experience in mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers, hospitals, manufacturing).

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with systems such as HVAC, UPS, generators, and BMS.

• Ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and respond to emergencies.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, IT, or related field preferred
