Job Description

We are seeking a Distribution Technician to assist with inspecting power distribution poles, contributing to our Power Distribution Engineering team and the growing Power Sector.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities and equipment.
• Collect and compile field data and prepare minor work orders.
• Generate maintenance reports for distribution equipment.
• Assist with storm damage assessments for overhead and underground distribution structures and equipment in various locations.

Essential Skills

• Data collection expertise.
• Experience in the electric utility and utility industry.
• Proficiency in field data collection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) or utility experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of computers and software applications, especially MS Office products, is desired.
• A clean and valid driver's license is required.
